Dear Barr Families,

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the safety, health, and well-being of our students, we are sharing information about Red Ribbon Week and Erin’s Law. Both initiatives provide important opportunities to reinforce the knowledge, skills, and confidence students need to make safe, healthy choices and recognize when to seek help.

Red Ribbon Week focuses on promoting healthy, drug-free lifestyles and encouraging students to make positive decisions. Erin’s Law supports age-appropriate education about personal safety, recognizing inappropriate behavior, and identifying trusted adults who can help. Middle school is an important time for students to develop these skills and build the confidence to advocate for themselves and others. We encourage you to review the letter linked above and continue these conversations at home. By working together, we can help ensure that every student feels informed, supported, and empowered to make safe choices.
